Online Learning Assistant


Up to £16,000 depending on experience with up to £3,000 bonus per annum

We are looking for an Online Learning Assistant to join the Rentokil Initial UK eLearning team. The primary function of this role is to support the Head of eLearning by creating content for our two online learning platforms. As our Online Learning Assistant you will need to ensure all training is recorded, evaluated and reported.



Day to day responsibilities:


Create online learning content, such as:

  • eLearning courses
  • Games
  • Assessments & Quizzes
  • PDF’s
  • Ensure that our training material is engaging and relevant
  • Monitor the progress of the content pipeline and liaise with UK and Group teams  to ensure all content is delivered on time and at a high standard
  • Support the Head of eLearning to review and sign off content
  • Support the Head of eLearning in the creation of monthly KPI decks, showing usage, activity levels, course numbers & progress reports by customer and business, to ensure both of our eLearning platforms are performing to a high standard
  • Support customers (internally and externally) with any system/login issues or queries by working with the Central U+ Development Team
  • Assist the UK development team during recording and voice-over sessions
  • Offer advice and recommendations to the business to help improve user experience


Do you have what it takes?

This role does not require any previous training as we will provide on the job training, however we are looking for applicants that meet the below criteria:  

  • GCSE/Level 2 Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • An interest in Learning & Development and digital media
  • Strong written/spoken English
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good working knowledge and experience with:
    • Microsoft PowerPoint, Word & Excel
    • Adobe Photoshop preferred but not required  
  • An effective team member, who is also able to work individually
  • Takes responsibility and deliver results
  • Takes ownership of personal development
