The main purpose of this role is to manage the Lincoln Branch and its employees in such a way as to ensure the fulfilment of Peter Cox LTD contractual obligations to its clients and customers and to achieve the agreed annual income and profit.


As the Branch Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the Branch operates in an effective and efficient way in compliance with current legislation and Property Care procedures to achieve the budgeted turnover and profit. This will include:

i) monitoring the number of surveys carried out and ratio to work accepted

ii) reviewing the competence and performance of Branch employees and provide advice and training where necessary

iii) monitoring the number and role of Branch employees to ensure that the current and planned future business activity and contractual obligations can be met

iv) ensuring the proper use, maintenance and security of the Company premises, vehicles, equipment, materials and monies and all other property in the Branch

v) following up and dealing effectively and efficiently with any complaints

vi) advising the Managing Director of any changes or events in the Branch area which may significantly affect the Property Care business in any way

vii) advising the Managing Director of any situation which may give rise to claims against the Company or legal action

  • Ensure compliance with the Company and Property Care Health and Safety Policy and that all colleagues follow the Company procedure
  • Maintain high standards of appearance and behaviour at all times in yourself and Branch employees as representatives of Rentokil Property Care
  • Maintain a high level of morale amongst Branch employees
  • Recruitment, promotion, disciplinary action and dismissal of employees with the approval of the Managing Director
  • Ensure that new employees receive an introductory training programme and existing employees receive on-going training as necessary
  • Orders or purchases up to an authorised limit agreed with the Managing Director
  • Ensure that Branch employees do no exceed their agreed order or purchasing limit
  • Ensure all matters relating to salary of employees, incentives and bonus payments must be approved by the Managing Director

To qualify for this Branch Manager role, you will:

  • Have had experience in the building preservation industry, and ideally be qualified to CSRT and CSSW standard
  • Have proven experience in sales or service management
  • Have good communication and people skills
  • Have the ability to be reactive as well as proactive
  • Be literate and numerate and be able to ensure that all reports are written in accordance within Company guidelines, and so that they are easily understood by both our customers and colleagues. Also ensure that quotes are calculated correctly in accordance with the pricing policy
